If you do not hit your target before the pitch expires, you may request a pitch extension. Please do this 5 or more days before the pitch is due to expire (whether public or in the hidden mode) as once it expires Crowdcube cannot simply ‘reactivate’ the pitch due to our regulated audit trail process.
You will need to provide some reasoning (ideally supported with evidence) for why we should extend your pitch, for example that there are still conversations open with potential larger investors.
The decision to extend a pitch is at Crowdcube’s discretion. If the company has sent any ‘last chance to invest’ or countdown communications to investors already, we will be unable to approve the extension in order to remain fair, clear and not misleading to the crowd.
If your pitch is extended, you will need to post an update to inform your existing investors and pitch followers.
