Whilst equity crowdfunding, by its very nature, is a public way of raising finance, it doesn’t mean you have to share the secrets of your success or the innermost workings of your business model.
For example, as part of Crowdcube’s own raise, we talked about our ambitions and what we plan to achieve, but not the detail on how we plan to do so. To ensure your pitch complies with FCA regulations, the content of your pitch page will need to be fair, clear and not misleading.
Don’t forget, you also have full control, at an individual investor level, over who is able to access your Restricted Documents, such as your business plan.
