The short answer is...as much as possible!
Getting your crowdfunding campaign off to a good start is vital to its success; so it’s important to engage your own network early on to ensure you build momentum right from the start of your campaign.
Your pitch will remain private until you reach an initial investment target (to be agreed with your Campaign Manager), meaning only people you share your campaign URL with can see and invest in your pitch. You should share your pitch with any lead investors as well as giving your own network of customers, family, friends, advisors, partners and business contacts exclusive access to your pitch.
Once you have raised a solid chunk of your target, your pitch will be made public and therefore visible to anyone visiting the Crowdcube site. At this point you should continue to promote your pitch to your network, it will also be visible to Crowdcube’s community. In order to maximise the success of your crowdfunding raise, you should, of course, continue to promote your pitch to your own network throughout the duration of your time on Crowdcube.
